Post Press Braidout
It’s time for the next ole school “Roshini’s hair” type of post.
We are picking up from here where I showed what my natural hair looked like after the 2nd wash post-pressing. The texture had definitely loosened up over my entire head so my braidout was bigger and hung more. I actually liked it.
First I put my damp hair into box braids like so:

I twisted the ends of each braids (a two-strand twist) so it would be easier to remove once dry.
This was my braidout a couple days later after Oprah’s Lifeclass and dinner with hubby.

You can see the straighter parts are shinier than the rest of my hair.
I actually like my braidout like this. If, for comparison, you want to see what a twistout was like right before I pressed click here.

Boy my neck looks dark in this shot, and the girls are … well … I’m pregnant. LOL!

This last shot is actually now poised up at the top of this blog (for now, the photo up there may change every once in a while so pay attention). I snapped it on a whim in the restroom at Bacana Brasil restaurant in Chesterfield, MO while waiting for hubster to arrive for dinner. My mini review of the restaurant is yumminess. My favorite items were the top sirloin and grilled pineapple.

Moi @ 25+ weeks preggo taking pictures in a bathroom LOL!
I originally shared this photo on my my Facebook fan page the day of, so if you haven’t liked that page you’re missing out.

I’m not bothered by the texture change of my hair much because I’ve been wearing my hair in braidouts and twistouts as usual and both styles help mask the difference.
